Nice

10 Sep 2000

Last night I found myself alone at the Nice train station at 3am, sitting on my backpack which contained basically everything I needed for survival, and so I flipped open my handy Let’s Go! tour book, and found the paragraph about this train station: “After dark, the station moonlights as one of the largest and most dangerous bedrooms in France.” So I looked around me and began to notice the unsettling number of black-leather-clad people sleeping on the ground with dogs leashed to their legs.

So, I decided to move on.
