I saw Fight Club the other day for the second time (if you’ve seen it once, you must see it twice), and it reminded me how much I’d like to start a film discussion group from a theistic perspective. A lot of Christians I know seem to separate their faith from their culture whenever possible. In the past ten years there’s been a huge growth in music from a Christian perspective that’s also artistically satisfying. But that’s far from the case in the film industry. However, I see no reason why we believers can’t or shouldn’t be participants in our culture.
